Empowerment Without Borders Ltd is an international not-for-profit organisation founded with a purpose to support people who have been victims of war, gender-based violence and or vulnerable in any form by empowering them to contribute to the designing and execution of services intended to meet their basic needs. EWB is headquartered in Queensland Australia, and runs its activities across Australia and overseas where the needs are present. Founded through the inspiration of lived experience, EWB seek to empower and improve the lives of the most vulnerable people especially women, children and young people impacted by war, family violence, poverty and other disadvantages, through capacity-building means, education programs, specialist counselling/support referrals; collaboration with others.
EWB is here to Empower vulnerable people and communities to become self-reliant and drivers of initiatives aimed to improve their social and economic lives.

Our amazing team of regulars and part-time volunteers are committed to helping others. We take our convictions and turn them into action. We have a team based in Australia, The DRC, Malawi, Burundi and currently working closely with our volunteers and stakeholders to continue reaching out to those in need. Our History
Started working with people who have been victims of war and other small activities in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) on personal funds to support volunteers on the ground (from 2020). We have also conducted a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for people affected with the Volcano in Goma, and led a push-up challenge to raise funds
Started working with people who have been victims of war and other small activities in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) on personal funds to support volunteers on the ground (from 2020). We have also conducted a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for people affected with the Volcano in Goma, and led a push-up challenge to raise funds for Headspace mental health initiatives. Our organisation is made up of dedicated volunteers with lived experience of the impact of war and trauma on the life outcomes of women, children, and young people in particular.
Seeing a need for energetic, non-profit work in this area, we formed our organization to provide sensible solutions. We've consistently grown since then, all thanks to the helping hands of our amazing communities!
